We're having terrible weather today—snow with freezing rain on top and very high winds. Our yard is littered with branches that have broken off from our big trees and two smallish trees in our woods have snapped off about halfway up. A big tree blew down a few houses up and is now lying across the road blocking traffic. This is the main route for the fire and ambulance vehicles to get out to the highway so they're frantically working on cutting it up and unblocking the route. What a mess!
A good day for working indoors! And I'll get to that in a few minutes. First, a giveaway! I haven't done one for ages so let's do one today for a snowflake tissue cozy in honor of the weather.
