How is my data used?

Great question! Market research is an extremely scientific and mathematical discipline. Market research companies know exactly what demographics they want for a given study. A cosmetic company probably won’t be looking for the opinions of males on a new eye shadow product. Likewise, a shaving cream study is likely to focus on males. Similarly, there are studies seeking mothers, game-players, smartphone owners and more. The information we collect is used to invite you to surveys for which you are eligible.

What is the survey dashboard?

We have prepared a video at the bottom of this page that describes the survey dashboard, and how it works. In short, it is the place you log in to each day, to see what surveys are available for you, what you have earned, when you can request a payout, the status of your payout and more. It is the heart of your home survey business. Oh, and by the way, it’s free.

What is the difference between a Panel and a Survey?

A survey is just what you think: a series of questions that ask first about yourself, and then your opinion on the subject being studied. A panel is a database of people who have agreed to be contacted about surveys. What’s more, after you have joined a panel, you will expanding your portfolio of sources for surveys. It’s important to note, however, that earnings through other panels are tracked at those panels’ websites. At Cashback Research, we will reward you for joining the panel and for any surveys you take on our site. On your survey dashboard, you will find links to both panels and surveys, and you can earn cash by participating in both.

Is this a daily job?

Yes. Our successful survey-takers have one thing in common: They all log in each and every day. Get in the habit of it of checking your dashboard daily. You'll be amazed how quickly the cash adds up.

Will I ever be rejected?

Yes. No one likes rejection, but that is just a part of survey-taking. Successful survey-takers get used to it. No one (least of all the webmasters at Cashback Research) know what opinions a particular survey panel is seeking on a given day. The only way to find out is to try, try, try. Just don’t take a rejection personally.

Will you send me email?

Yes. Email is our primary means of communication. We send emails daily informing you of survey invitations and other money-making opportunities, as well as important information and updates about the site and the survey dashboard. We work very hard to make these emails relevant, but when we miss the mark, feel free to ignore the email. Tomorrow may be better!

Will I be contacted by phone?

Not by us. As part of a survey, you may be asked to participate in a phone survey. If you do not wish to participate, do not give your phone number. We will never call you.
