Boost Metabolism with Organifi

Most people nowadays understand that there is a difference between living soil and dead dirt: regardless of how many chemical fertilizers you add to the latter, it lacks the microbes with which the plants’ roots are designed to live in symbiosis, and without which the plant cannot absorb nutrients effectively. Growing crops in dirt is like trying to digest your food without any bacteria in your gut.

Amazing Grass Green Superfood, Original, Powder, 30 servings, 8.5oz Wheat Grass, Spirulina, Alfalfa, Acai, Maca, Flax Seed, Probiotic, Active Cultures, Vitamin K, Greens, Detox

Worse yet, we are burning off the carbon sequestered in our soil at an alarming rate: estimates are that in another 60 years half the remaining arable soil on Earth will be gone. Think Fertile Crescent → Sahara Desert, only worldwide.
Even apart from the resulting starvation, consider the alternative: if we adopted sustainable farming practices (especially non-tillage methods) we could add soil at a rate sufficient to re-sequester carbon faster than we liberate it in all the cars on Earth. France and other countries have now committed to this approach. So there is more than one reason to grow in healthy soil.

Apple- are an excellent source of antioxidants, which combat free radicals. Free radicals are damaging substances generated in the body that cause undesirable changes and are involved in the aging process and some diseases. Some animal studies have found that an antioxidant found in apples (polyphenols) might extend lifespans.Researchers at The Florida State University said that apples are a “miracle fruit”.In their study, the investigators found that older women who starting a regime of eating apples daily Fuji apple Almonds - Have more fiber than any other tree nut.The fatty acid profile of almonds, which is made up of 91-94% unsaturated fatty acids, may partly explain why it helps maintain healthy cholesterol levels.File:Sa almonds.jpg Oatmeal Oatmeal is meal made from rolled or ground oats. In the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland, the term “porridge” or “porridge oats” are common terms for the breakfast cereal that is usually cooked. Interest in oatmeal has increased considerably over the last twenty years because of its health benefits. Studies have shown that if you eat a bowl of oatmeal everyday your blood cholesterol levels, especially if they are too high, will drop, because of the cereal’s soluble fiber content. When findings were published in the 1980s, an “oat bran craze” spread across the USA and Western Europe. The oats craze dropped off in the 1990s. In 1997, the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) agreed that foods with high levels of rolled oats or oat bran could include data on their labels about their cardiovascular heart benefits if accompanied with a low-fat diet. This was followed by another surge in oatmeal popularity. Oats is rich in complex carbohydrates, as well as water-soluble fiber, which slow digestion down and stabilize levels of blood-glucose. Oatmeal is very rich in B vitamins, omega-3 fatty acids, folate, and potassium. Oatmeal Broccoli reduce the risk of developing heart disease, and some cancers. Broccoli also contains vitamin C, as well as , an antioxidant. Researchers from the University of Illinois wrote in Nutrition and Cancer that lightly steamed broccoli can significantly reduce your risk of developing cancers (steaming it slightly does not destroy the enzyme myrosinase). However, if you overcook it the health benefits are undermined. A UK study found that sulforaphane, a compound found in broccoli and other cruciferous vegetables such as cabbage and Brussels sprouts, could help fight osteoarthritisFile:Broccoli and cross section edit.jpg - Blueberries are rich in fiber, antioxidants and phytonutrients. Phytonutrients are natural chemicals found in plants. Unlike minerals and vitamins that are also found in plant foods, phytonutrients are not essential for keeping us alive. However, they may help prevent disease and keep the body working properly. According to a study carried out at Harvard Medical School, elderly people who eat plenty of blueberries (and strawberries) are compared to other people of their age who do not.10 Scientists at Texas Woman’s University found that blueberries help in curbing . Plant polyphenols, which are abundant in blueberries, , while inducing the breakdown of lipids and fat (lipolysis).Regular blueberry consumption can by 10%, because of the berry’s bioactive compounds, anthocyanins, scientists from East Anglia University, England, and Harvard University, USA reported in the American Journal of Nutrition.Blueberries-Littleisland Oily fish These types of fish have oil in their tissues and around the gut. Their lean fillets contain up to 30% oil, specifically, fatty acids. These oils are known to provide benefits for the heart, as well as the nervous system.Oily fish are also known to provide benefits for patients with inflammatory conditions, such as arthritis.Oily fish also contain vitamins A and D.Scientists at UCLA’s Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center found that when patients went on a low-fat diet with fish oil supplements.Sardin from sardegna 1 Leafy green vegetables Studies have shown that a high intake of dark-leafy vegetables, such as spinach or cabbage may significantly lower a person’s risk of developing diabetes type 2. Researchers at the University of Leicester, England, said that the impact of dark green vegetables on human health should be investigated further, after they gathered data from six studies. They reported their findings in the Spinach, for example, is very rich in antioxidants, especially when uncooked, steamed or very lightly boiled. It is a good source of vitamins A, B6, C, E and K, as well as selenium, niacin, zinc, phosphorus, copper, potassium, calcium, manganese, betaine, and iron.Spinach Sweet potatoes Sweet potatoes are rich in dietary fiber, beta carotene, complex carbohydrates, vitamin C, vitamin B6, as well as carotene (the pink, yellow ones). The Center for Science in the Public Interest, USA, compared the nutritional value of sweet potatoes to other vegetables.17 The sweet potato ranked number one, when vitamins A and C, iron, calcium, protein and complex carbohydrates were considered.Ipomoea batatas 006 Wheat germ Wheat germ is the part of wheat that germinates to grow into a plant – the embryo of the seed. Germ, along with bran, is commonly a by-product of the milling; when cereals are refined, the germ and bran are often milled out.Wheat germ is high in several vital nutrients, such as vitamin E, folic acid (folate), thiamin, zinc, magnesium, phosphorus, as well as fatty alcohols and essential fatty acids. Avocados Many people avoid avocados because of its high fat content; they believe that avoiding all fats leads to better health and easier-to-control body weight – this is a myth. Approximately 75% of the calories in an avocado come from fat; mostly monosaturated fat. Alpukat Weight-for-weight, avocados have 35% more potassium than bananas. Avocados are also very rich in B vitamins, as well as vitamin K and vitamin E. Avocados also have a very high fiber content of 25% soluble and 75% insoluble fiber. Studies have shown that regular avocado consumption lowers blood cholesterol levels. Avocado extracts are currently being studied in the laboratory to see whether they might be useful for treating diabetes or hypertension. Researchers from Ohio State University found that nutrients taken from avocados were able to stop oral cancer cells, and even destroy some of the pre-cancerous cells. The dos and don’ts are hard for any concerned pregnant woman to ignore, but there’s so much information out there – and some of it is questionable or downright wrong. How do you know what to believe? Here, from organizations such as the March of Dimes, the Food and Drug Administration, the Environmental Protection Agency and a specialist in obstetrics who has written a book on pregnancy dos and don’ts, is a general list of what you can do or have and what you should avoid during pregnancy: Avoid • Alcoholic beverages, cigarettes and illegal drugs – The use of any of these during pregnancy has been linked to premature birth, low birth weight and serious birth defects. No amount has been determined as safe. • Cat litter – This can contain a parasite called Toxoplasmois gondii, which causes Toxoplasmosis, a disease that can be fatal to your fetus. Have someone else change your cat’s litter box; if you must do it, wash your hands thoroughly and carefully after changing the box yourself. • Deli meats and salads – Cold cuts, and tuna or egg salad from a deli can also be contaminated with Listeria bacteria. Elisabeth Aron, M.D., author of Pregnancy Dos & Don’ts (The Stone-song Press, 2008), cautions against eating deli meats and hot dogs unless they’ve been reheated and are steaming hot. • Certain large fish – Shark, swordfish, tile fish and king mackerel are all known to contain high levels of methyl mercury (thanks to industrial pollution in ponds, lakes and oceans). Mercury can damage the nervous system, especially in children and unborn babies. Visit the EPA’s Web site (www.epa.gov/ost/fish) for more information on risky seafood in different regions of the country. • Over-the-counter medications – Limit these to remedies considered safe throughout pregnancy, including the pain reliever acetaminophen (Tylenol), antihistamines like Claritin, Zyrtec and Allegra, many antacids and prescribed narcotic pain relievers. Pain relievers like aspirin and those containing ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin, etc.), and the diarrhea medicine Pepto Bismol should be avoided because of their link to birth defects. Always check with your doctor before taking any medicine to be sure that it’s safe for you. • Raw or undercooked meat, fish, eggs, and unpasteurized milk– These foods can carry bacteria such as salmonella and E. coli, which can make you sick and harm your fetus. Don’t eat any eggs with a runny yolk, and cook beef to at least 160º F. • Saunas and hot tubs – Studies have linked elevated body temperatures (102º F) to neural tube defects and miscarriages. (Also, be cautious with electric blankets, particularly during the first trimester, because of elevated body temperature.)

Dashain Festivals in Nepal

Dashain in NepalDuring the month of Kartik (late September and early October), the Nepalese people indulge in the biggest festival of the year, Dashain. Dashain is the longest and the most auspicious festival in the Nepalese annual calendar, celebrated by Nepalese of all caste and creed throughout the country. The fifteen days of celebration occurs during the bright lunar fortnight ending on the day of the full moon. Thorough out the kingdom of Nepal the goddess Durga in all her manifestations are worshiped with innumerable pujas, abundant offerings and thousands of animal sacrifices for the ritual holy bathing, thus drenching the goddess for days in blood.

The ninth day is called Nawami: Temples of mother goddess are filled with people from dawn till dusk. Animals mostly black buffaloes are slaughtered to honour Durga the goddess of victory and might and to seek her blessing. Military bands play war tunes, guns boom and officers with beautifully decorated medals in full uniform stand there. When the function ends the courtyard is filled ankle deep with blood. On this very day the god Vishwa Karma, the God of creativity is also worshiped. All factories, vehicles, any machinery instruments and anything from which we make a living are worshiped. We also give sacrifices to all moving machinery like cars, aeroplanes, trucks etc. to get the blessing from goddess Durga for protection for vehicles and their occupants against accidents during the year. The entire day is colourful.

Dashain Festivals in Nepal During the month of Kartik (late September and early October), the Nepalese people indulge in the biggest festival of the year, Dashain. Dashain is the longest and the most auspicious festival in the Nepalese annual calendar, celebrated by Nepalese of all caste and creed throughout the country. Thorough out the kingdom of Nepal the goddess Durga in all her manifestations are worshiped with innumerable pujas, abundant offerings and thousands of animal sacrifices for the ritual holy bathing, thus drenching the goddess for days in blood. Dashain commemorates a great victory of the gods over the wicked demons. One of the victory stories told is the Ramayan, where the lord Ram after a big struggle slaughtered Ravana, the fiendish king of demons. It is said that lord Ram was successful in the battle only when goddess Durga was evoked. The main celebration glorifies the triumph of good over evil and is symbolized by goddess Durga slaying the terrible demon Mahisasur, who terrorised the earth in the guise of a brutal water buffalo. The first nine days signify the nine days of ferrous battle between goddess Durga and the demon Mahisasur. The tenth day is the day when Mahisasur was slain and the last five days symbolise the celebration of the victory with the blessing of the goddess. Dashain is celebrated with great rejoice, and goddess Durga is worshiped throughout the kingdom as the divine mother goddess. In preparation for Dashain every home is cleansed and beautifully decorated, painted as an invitation to the mother goddess, so that she may visit and bless the house with good fortune. During this time the reunion of distant and nearby relatives occur in every household. The market is filled with shoppers seeking new clothing, gifts, luxuries and enormous supplies of temple offering for the gods, as well as foodstuffs for the family feasting. Thousands of sheep, goats, ducks, chicken and water buffalo are prepared for the great slaughter. All types of organisations are closed for ten to fifteen days. Labourers are almost impossible to find; from the poor to the rich, all enjoy the festive mood. Anywhere you go the aroma of 'Vijaya Dashami' is found. The first nine days of Dashain are called Nawa Ratri when tantric rites are conducted. In Nepal the life force is embodied in the divine energy and power of the female, depicted as goddess Durga in her many forms. All goddess who emanated from goddess Durga are known as devis, each with different aspects and powers. In most mother goddess temples the deity is represented simply as a sacred Kalash, carved water jug or multiple handed goddess holding murderous weapons. During these nine days people pay their homage to the goddess. If she is properly worshiped and pleased good fortunes are on the way and if angered through neglect then misfortunes are around the corner. Mother goddess is the source of life and everything. The first day of Dashain is called Ghatasthapana, which literally means pot establishing. On this day the kalash, (holy water vessel) symbolising goddess Durga often with her image embossed on the side is placed in the prayer room. The kalash is filled with holy water and covered with cowdung on to which seeds are sown. A small rectangular sand block is made and the kalash is put in the centre. The surrounding bed of sand is also seeded with grains. The ghatasthapana ritual is performed at a certain auspicious moment determined by the astrologers. At that particular moment the priest intones a welcome, requesting goddess Durga to bless the vessel with her presence. The room where the kalash is established is called 'Dashain Ghar'. Generally women are not allowed to enter the room where Dashain puja is being carried out. A priest or a household man worships the kalash everyday once in the morning and then in the evening. The kalash and the sand are sprinkled with holy water everyday and it is shielded from direct sunlight. By the tenth day, the seed will have grown to five or six inches long yellow grass. The sacred yellow grass is called 'Jamara'. It is bestowed by the elders atop the heads of those younger to them during the last five days when tika is put on. The jamara is taken as a token of Goddess Durga as well as the elders blessing. As days passes by regular rituals are observed till the seventh day. The seventh day is called 'Fulpati'. In fulpati, the royal kalash filled with holy water, banana stalks, jamara and sugar cane tied with red cloth is carried by Brahmans on a decorated palanquin under a gold tipped and embroidered umbrella. The government officials also join the fulpati parade. With this the Dashain feasting starts. The eighth day is called the Maha Asthami: The fervour of worship and sacrifice to Durga and Kali increases. On this day many orthodox Hindus will be fasting. Sacrifices are held in almost every house through out the day. The night of the eighth day is called 'Kal Ratri', the dark night. Hundreds of goats, sheep and buffaloes are sacrificed at the mother goddess temples. The sacrifice continues till dawn. While the puja is being carried out great feasts are held in the homes of common people where large amount of meat are consumed. We also give sacrifices to all moving machinery like cars, aeroplanes, trucks etc. to get the blessing from goddess Durga for protection for vehicles and their occupants against accidents during the year. The entire day is colourful. The tenth day is the Dashami: On this day we take tika and jamara from our elders and receive their blessing. We visit our elders in their home and get tika from them while our younger ones come to our home to receive blessing from us. The importance of Dasain also lies in the fact that on this day family members from far off and distant relatives come for a visit as well as to receive tika from the head of the family. This function continues for four days. After four days of rushing around and meeting your relatives Dashain ends on the full moon day, the fifteenth day. In the last day people stay at home and rest. The full moon day is also called 'Kojagrata' meaning 'who is awake'. The Hindu goddess of wealth Laxmi is worshipped. On this day the goddess Laxmi is given an invitation to visit each and everyone. After Dashain everyone settles back to normal. After receiving the blessing of goddess Durga, people are ready to work and acquire virtue, power and wealth. Dashain thus is not only the longest festival but also the most anticipated one among all the festivals of Nepal.

Bill Gates was born on October 28, 1955 $$$$

Bill Gates was born on October 28, 1955 in Seattle in a family having rich business, political and community service background. His great-grandfather was a state legislator and a mayor, his grandfather was vice president of national bank and his father was a lawyer.

Bill believed in achieving his goals through hard work. He also believes that if you are intelligent and know how to use your intelligence, you can reach your goals and targets. From his early days Bill was ambitious, competitive and intelligent. These qualities helped him to attain great position in the profession he chose also Bill was deemed by his peers and his teachers as the smartest kid on campus; Bill’s parents came to know their son’s intelligence and decided to enroll him in a private school, known for its intense academic environment. That was the most important decision in Bill Gate’s life where he was first introduced to computers. Bill Gates and his friends were very much interested in computer and formed “Programmers Group” in late 1968. Being in this group, they found a new way to apply their computer skill in university of Washington. In the next year, they got their first opportunity in Information Sciences Inc. in which they were selected as programmers. ISI (Information Sciences Inc.) agreed to give them royalties, whenever it made money from any of the group’s program. As a result of the business deal signed with Information Sciences Inc., the group also became a legal business.

Bill Gates and his close friend Allen formed a new company of their own, Traf-O-Data. They developed a small computer to measure traffic flow. From this project they earned around $20,000. The era of Traf-O-Data came to an end when Gates left the college. Upon graduating from Lakeside Bill enrolled in Harvard University in 1973, one of the best universities in the country, He didn’t know what to do, so he enrolled his name for pre-law. He took the standard freshman courses with the exception of signing up for one of Harvard’s toughest mathematics courses. He did well over there, but he couldn’t find it interesting too. He spent many long nights in front of the school’s computer and the next day asleep in class. After leaving school, he almost lost himself from the world of computers. Gates and his friend Paul Allen remained in close contact even though they were away from school. They would often discuss new ideas for future projects and the possibility of starting a business one fine day. At the end of Bill’s first year, Allen came close to him so that they could follow some of their ideas. That summer they got job in Honeywell. Allen kept on pushing Bill for opening a new software company.

Within a year, Bill Gates dropped out from Harvard. Then he formed Microsoft. Microsoft’s vision is “A computer on every desk and Microsoft software on every computer”. Bill is a visionary person and works very hard to achieve his vision. His belief in high intelligence and hard work has put him where he is today. He does not believe in mere luck or God’s grace, but just hard work and competitiveness. Bill’s Microsoft is good competition for other software companies and he will continue to stomp out (challenge) the competition until he dies. He likes to play the game of Risk and the game of world domination. His beliefs are so powerful, which have helped him increase his wealth and his monopoly in the industry.

Bill Gates is not a greedy person. In fact, he is quite giving person when it comes to computers, internet and any kind of funding. Some years back, he visited Chicago’s Einstein Elementary School and announced grants benefiting Chicago’s schools and museums where he donated a total of $110,000, a bunch of computers, and provided internet connectivity to number of schools. Secondly, Bill Gates donated 38 million dollars for the building of a computer institute at Stanford University.

What is Cashback Research?

Cashback Research is a free service that provides people with a means to be rewarded for giving opinions in online surveys. It is not a get-rich quick scheme or even a realistic part-time job. We connect market research companies with honest survey-takers by offering a means for users to be paid cash for the opinions that marketers seek. The Survey Dashboard is the heart of our service and is given free to every survey-taker. It provides survey-takers with a means to easily login and find daily surveys to take, manage their earnings, ask questions and request payouts.

What about my privacy?

You are right to be concerned about your privacy, and it is a matter we take very seriously We will never share your email address or any personal information. We use it strictly to determine which survey invitations are valid for you. That’s all. You may read our complete privacy policy here.

How do I get paid?

Cashback Research pays in two ways: Paypal and Gift Cards. Once you request a payout, our claims processing team will usually have your payout in your hands within two weeks. Gift cards take up to a month, since they are sent via post.

Is this a get-rich quick scheme?

No. You will not get rich at Cashback Research. All we promise is that you will get paid for your opinions.

How is my data used?

Great question! Market research is an extremely scientific and mathematical discipline. Market research companies know exactly what demographics they want for a given study. A cosmetic company probably won’t be looking for the opinions of males on a new eye shadow product. Likewise, a shaving cream study is likely to focus on males. Similarly, there are studies seeking mothers, game-players, smartphone owners and more. The information we collect is used to invite you to surveys for which you are eligible.

What is the survey dashboard?

We have prepared a video at the bottom of this page that describes the survey dashboard, and how it works. In short, it is the place you log in to each day, to see what surveys are available for you, what you have earned, when you can request a payout, the status of your payout and more. It is the heart of your home survey business. Oh, and by the way, it’s free.

What is the difference between a Panel and a Survey?

A survey is just what you think: a series of questions that ask first about yourself, and then your opinion on the subject being studied. A panel is a database of people who have agreed to be contacted about surveys. What’s more, after you have joined a panel, you will expanding your portfolio of sources for surveys. It’s important to note, however, that earnings through other panels are tracked at those panels’ websites. At Cashback Research, we will reward you for joining the panel and for any surveys you take on our site. On your survey dashboard, you will find links to both panels and surveys, and you can earn cash by participating in both.

Is this a daily job?

Yes. Our successful survey-takers have one thing in common: They all log in each and every day. Get in the habit of it of checking your dashboard daily. You'll be amazed how quickly the cash adds up.

Will I ever be rejected?

Yes. No one likes rejection, but that is just a part of survey-taking. Successful survey-takers get used to it. No one (least of all the webmasters at Cashback Research) know what opinions a particular survey panel is seeking on a given day. The only way to find out is to try, try, try. Just don’t take a rejection personally.

Yes. Email is our primary means of communication. We send emails daily informing you of survey invitations and other money-making opportunities, as well as important information and updates about the site and the survey dashboard. We work very hard to make these emails relevant, but when we miss the mark, feel free to ignore the email. Tomorrow may be better!

Bill Great*************************************************
